What this website collects, why, and who else handles it. Last updated 9 October 2026.
The short version
- No accounts, no forms
- You don't sign up for anything here. Enquiries happen on WhatsApp or by email, so this website does not store what you write.
- No ads, no selling
- We run no ads and no advertising cookies, and we never sell or rent your details.
- Visits are counted
- We use Google Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics to see which pages are useful. Both are explained below.
- Your choice
- You can block analytics at any time, and ask us to delete anything you have sent us.
What we collect
When you enquire
If you message us on WhatsApp, we receive your WhatsApp number, the name on your profile and what you write. If you email us, we receive your email address, your message and any attachments. We use these to reply, quote and take your order forward, and for nothing else.
The enquiry buttons on this site only open WhatsApp or your email app with a message ready to send. Nothing reaches us until you press send there.
When you browse
Like most websites, we count visits. This shows us which pages are opened, roughly where from (country and city), what kind of device and browser, how you arrived (a Google search, for example) and which enquiry buttons are tapped. It does not tell us who you are, and we do not try to find out.
Who else handles it
- Cloudflare
- Hosts this website, delivers it quickly, protects it from attacks and runs its cookieless analytics. To do that it sees your IP address. Cloudflare privacy policy
- Google Analytics
- Counts visits, as described above. Google privacy policy
- Google Fonts
- The typefaces load from Google's servers, so Google receives your IP address and browser details when a page opens.
- Google Workspace
- Runs our email, so messages you send us are held there.
- Carries your messages when you write to us there. WhatsApp privacy policy
Some of these companies process data outside India. Each handles data under its own privacy policy. We do not share your details with anyone else.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as we need to answer you, complete an order and keep our business records. Google Analytics keeps visit data for a limited period set in our account, never longer than 14 months. Cloudflare keeps its logs for a short period under its own policy.
Your choices
Ask us. Email hello@srtthreads.com to see, correct or delete what we hold from your enquiries, and we will act on it promptly.
Stop analytics. Use your browser's tracking protection or a content blocker, or install Google's opt-out add-on for your browser. The website works the same either way.
Cookies. Your browser settings let you block or delete cookies at any time.
